ACAP Scotland Conference 2022 #AdvPracWeek22 We are moving to a hybrid/blended event this year and look forwards to seeing as many as possible of you in person.. The Research day will be free of charge. Registration to attend and application to present your work at the virtual Research day (Wed 16th November) is now open: Apply here.The face to face day (Friday 18th November) will be £50 to attend in person - great value with networking and lunch at Bean Cross Farm event centre near Grangemouth. Booking openIt includes access to all recorded content after the event. ACAP Conference 2020 Virtual Conference Programme - #AdvPracWeek2020 Our first ever virtual conference is only a few weeks away, to be hosted on NHS Scotland MS Teams.The provisional programme is now released, along with Award Nominations and Poster Applications. Please consider submitting your poster or a nomination for those individuals/teams who have inspired you during the pandemic.If you haven't signed up already, please do so now through and email to acapscotland@outlook.com from your NHS eMail address. We can accept applications from non NHS staff, but your access will be limited to "guest". There is no expectation that delegates will attend all the sessions - only those they are interested in.The sign-up procedure for individual sessions will follow for those who have signed up for the conference.

A new concept within NHS Grampian, the Advanced Care Academy was created to educate and support trainee and developing Advanced Care Practitioners (ACPs). Nurse Consultants Karen Kindness and Alison Moggach employed Academy ANP Fellows to provide expert clinical supervision to trainee ANPs while maintaining service delivery. Within the past year they have supported development of advanced practice roles across a range of platforms of care with focus on maintaining service within GP practice and developing new roles within acute services (cohort illustrated).
