CNOD ANP Paper 2 Published Transforming Nursing Roles Advanced Nursing Practice - Phase II Introduction The Transforming Roles paper on Advanced Nursing Practice (ANP) set out core competencies, education priorities and supervision requirements for ANP roles in Scotland. Following publication, the Advanced Practice Short Life Working Group (SLWG) agreed to a second phase to expand this work to include: • Core Competencies for Acute, Primary Care, Mental Health and Paediatrics/Neonates • Metrics for measuring outcomes • Non-clinical time • Supervision • Advanced Practice Academies. Scottish Advanced Practice Educator Network (SAPEN) The newly founded Scottish Advanced Practice Educator Network is a sub group of the Association of Advanced Practice Educators (AAPE) UK has just published its first newsletter which we are delighted to have the opportunity to share here. ACAP Conference 2020 Virtual Conference Programme - #AdvPracWeek2020 Our first ever virtual conference is only a few weeks away, to be hosted on NHS Scotland MS Teams.The provisional programme is now released, along with Award Nominations and Poster Applications. Please consider submitting your poster or a nomination for those individuals/teams who have inspired you during the pandemic.If you haven't signed up already, please do so now through and email to email@example.com from your NHS eMail address. We can accept applications from non NHS staff, but your access will be limited to "guest". There is no expectation that delegates will attend all the sessions - only those they are interested in.The sign-up procedure for individual sessions will follow for those who have signed up for the conference.
